Crime and Punishment
For me, this topic doesn't represent a problem in itself, but rather a byproduct of a poorly structured society. The death penalty is a very harsh rule for people who commit crimes of any kind. However, we must also understand and accept that human beings often must be punished so that others become aware of the repercussions they may face. Death is not the solution, but rather the last resort for justice, if you could call it that poetically. I don't agree, but I don't dismiss it as a solution to the problems we experience in our current society.
